- The aim of the project is the initiation of a research unit focusing on the integration of geometric representations with digital competencies by positioning digital tools not merely as supportive instruments but as environments that reshape the nature of geometric tasks and understanding. Its innovation lies in bridging fundamental geometric theory with secondary and tertiary education through representation-based methodologies. By redefining tasks in accordance with the representational logic of digital tools, such as computer-aided design, computational algebra systems, dynamic geometry, or extended reality, the project enables the study of transitions between representations as accelerators of conceptual knowledge. This approach extends traditional didactics by incorporating advanced topics into accessible learning pathways and empirically studying how such environments influence problem-solving strategies. The resulting framework contributes to both mathematical theory and educational practice, offering scalable qualitative research methodologies aligned with contemporary digital competency standards
